Fixed our Black smoke/Sticky Choke problem with a tristytie wire....
RV starts up Great now.. Not sure if I'm opening it too far now?? Or if it can even be open too far.. Oh well.. seems good. Stopped at Swift current's Walmart for the night. It's hard to drive the RV more than
several hours per day... Swift current is a small city, maybe 20k? But they have a nice trail system that links several different city parks together. One playground was awesome! A built in Mini Waterpark!!! Oh man..
to be a kid again! You press a button and water spurts out of a bunch of different places. TOnight we found our first job!!! The Safeway store charges 25cent deposits on it's cart... (if you've seen Terminal you get the picture!) Miranda thought it was corney, but we each found 2 carts to return in the parking lot, so we got 50 cents each!!! our first canadian currency!!!

Miranda wanted to see bison, So we headed towards Lake Audy. the 12 mile drive took over 2 hours!!! SO washboarded.. afraid we were ripping the camper apart.
Once there though, we saw some bison, Maybe about 20 across a field.
found a nice capsite by lake audey. Water was really weedy and dark, so no swimming... Miranda found much wildlife, and in the morning we drove the bison view drive again, this time with her on the roof of the camper!!! excellent views.
Miranda's squirrel friend.
Songbird
American White Pelican
Red-Tailed Hawk (we saw 10+)
The Bison!

We slept in a Walmart parking lot tonight.. Spent the morning biking around
winnipeg, rode along the red river in town... They actually have river taxis!! and very good bike system, people biking everywhere
We are running low on our "utility" water and now have to decide whether to try to Filter some from a lake source, or stop at an RV campground and pay!! .. I suppose we could try that once.... Not any towns for a while now so It could be several days before any words.. hopefully Laura has not burned the house down... and is making progress on a roommate???

Miranda found road access to the private swimming hole we found last night.
So we moved the rv to 5' from the water!. perfect private lake. we may need to stay here a while
Windy night... Scary Low Frequency Sounds while we were sleeping, finally figured it was the webbing on the roof.

We are actually leaving for our trip! We plan to head up to International Falls and cross the border into Canada, then take the TransContinental Highway through Canada to Kalispell, MT. It's doubtfall we'll get internet often during our trip so the diary will not get updated everyday, but we'll update whenever we can.
